Halloween Costumes with Oriental Trading

It's party time!! Halloween has become my favorite Holiday over the years. Now that I have kids I get to enjoy helping them pick out their costumes each year. I love seeing their personalities come out in their costume choices. We do a Halloween Party every year where the adults dress up with the kids. My family normally tries to do a theme. Like last year my youngest son and his Nana dressed up as Mario while my oldest and I dressed as Luigi. The year before we where all Indians and Super Heroes another year. As they've gotten older it's gotten harder to stick with a theme because they both want such different things. My oldest is being a Ghostbuster and the youngest has chose Batman. I couldn't find any costumes I liked that would go with either of theirs so I decided to just find a costume I would enjoy wearing. I searched on Oriental Trading for days. They have pretty much any theme you could imagine and amazing prices.

My husband decided he wanted to be Jason Voorhees. We found his costume which came with the Jason hockey shirt and mask for under $30. I loved the womens Jason costume, but I was afraid the length of the dress may be too short for a kids party. Instead I opted for the Mrs. Scissorhands costume. Edward Scissorhands is one of my all time favorite movies, so it's a perfect fit. The costume is incredibly cute and very well made. Oriental Trading never disappoints with any of the products I've got. The scissors are a foam type material and I can easily pull them off the gloves if they get to be to much trouble. The dress itself is solid black and looks like a leather fabric. It also came with a crazy black wig which my kids got a big kick out of. I've dressed as anything from a Nun, an Indian to a flapper, but this years Mrs. Scissorhands costume has been my favorite and one that I've noticed hasn't been over used. Of all the costume idea's I've saw from my friends and acquaintances on social media, none have had my costume. The quality of both costumes are great and I'm quite sure will last for years to come. Oriental Trading has alot more than costumes. I actually used them for our Halloween Party goodies also. The treat bags, novelty items, decor and more. You can read my post about that here. You can find most any Holiday, event, party or even school needs at Oriental Trading. What is your favorite items to buy at Oriental Trading? Sound off in the comments below!!
